George Santayana
George Santayana (1863-1952) was a Spanish-American philosopher, essayist, poet, and novelist. He was born in Madrid, Spain, and moved to the United States at a young age. Santayana taught philosophy at Harvard University for many years and became well-known for his works on a wide range of philosophical topics, including aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology.
